CAREER OPPORTUNITY

Power Planning & Monitoring Company (PPMC) is mandated to provide policy and technical support to Ministry of Energy (Power Division), integrated planning of the Power Sector of Pakistan, development and implementation of strategic plans for power sector, and to administer, monitor and evaluate performance of Power Sector Entities under the approved policies/plans.

The Company invites applications from eligible candidates for the following position, who can perform the tasks assigned to the Company. The first 03 months shall be on probation and thereafter shall be continued as per company policy.

Candidates must possess strong interpersonal, leadership, communication, drafting, analytical, problem-solving and IT skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, work effectively under pressure, and exercise sound judgment based on accurate and timely analysis.

(1) Senior Team Lead (R&D Secretariat) – 01

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities (SKA):

  • Bachelor's degree (required) or master's degree (preferred) in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline from a PEC-accredited institution or any other relevant degree from a recognized university.

  • Minimum of 8 years of post-qualification professional experience in power sector, Power planning, hydropower, renewable energy, power-system studies, R&D, innovation, project development, project management, or donor-funded programs.

  • The candidate must have strong knowledge of Pakistan's power sector, including generation, transmission, distribution, sector planning, regulatory framework, energy transition, renewables, energy storage, and institutional reform.

  • The candidate must possess excellent analytical, drafting, communication, presentation, coordination, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

  • Knowledge of donor-funded programs, public-sector procedures, procurement processes, project monitoring, applied research, emerging technologies, and international best practices in the energy-sector shall be an advantage.

Remuneration & Age:

  • The selected candidate will be offered a market-based, competitive remuneration package, commensurate with their skills and experience as per company policy.

  • The maximum age limit is 50 years as on the closing date of the advertisement. No age relaxation will be permitted.
