The Indus River System Authority (IRSA), an autonomous body established under Act No. XXII of 1992, is establishing a Telemetry System through a project titled:

"Installation of Telemetry System for Real Time Discharge Monitoring at 27 Key Sites on Indus Basin Irrigation System (IBIS)"

WAPDA is implementing the project as the Executing Agency. Staff hired for the project through this advertisement will be:

  • Attached with WAPDA during execution

  • DLP period of One (1) year

  • Thereafter, WAPDA's maintenance period of two (2) years for training purposes

IRSA intends to appoint the following Project Staff for the Telemetry Project:

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

  1. The appointments shall be made as project employees on Project Mode under the Telemetry Project, initially for a period of one year, which shall be extendable subject to the satisfactory Performance Evaluation Report and project requirements.

  2. The posts shall be filled on open merit basis.

  3. Remuneration shall be admissible as per Standard Pay Package for the Project Staff as mentioned against each post, as per Finance Division (Regulation Wing) O.M. No. F.No. 4(9)R-14/2008 dated 18th April, 2022, revised from time to time. Increment @ 5% shall be admissible annually.

  4. Postings/Transfers for the positions indicated at Sr. # 3 & 4 can be made anywhere at project sites in Pakistan.

  5. Applicants serving in Government/Semi-Government Departments or Autonomous Bodies are required to apply through proper channel along with NOC of their respective Department.

  6. Relaxation of upper age limit as per Federal Government Rules will be admissible.

  7. Incomplete applications and those received after due date will not be entertained.

  8. Applicants having minimum academic qualification below 2nd Division will not be considered.

  9. Only short-listed candidates shall be called for test and interviews.

  10. No TA/DA shall be admissible to the candidates as and when called for test/interview.

  11. Information provided in the application forms shall be verified during the selection/interview process. In case any false or forged information is found during the selection or after the selection process, IRSA reserves the right to cancel the selection of the candidate at any stage, even after employment.

  12. The competent authority reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of posts and to cancel the recruitment process at any stage before its completion.

  13. Candidates will have to submit separate online applications, if they wish to apply for more than one post.
