JOB OPPORTUNITIES

The Shalamar Institute of Health Sciences (SIHS)—comprising Shalamar Hospital (SH), Shalamar Medical and Dental College (SMDC), Shalamar Nursing College (SNC), and Shalamar School of Allied Health Sciences (SSAHS)—invites applications from qualified professionals for various vacancies across its constituent units.

Clinical & Medical Faculty Positions

1. Senior Registrar

• Specialties: Cardiology, Nephrology

• Requirements: Level III or Level IV qualification that strictly matches the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PM&DC) approved criteria for faculty appointments and promotions.

2. Visiting Consultant Radiology

• Eligibility: MBBS, FCPS in Radiology.

• Experience: 3 to 5 years of post-qualification experience within a reputable tertiary care hospital setup.

3. Post Graduate Trainees (FCPS-II)

• Specialties:

  • Anesthesia, Bio-Chemistry, Cardiology, Community Medicine, Gynae/Obs, Dermatology, Forensic Medicine, Gen. Medicine, Gen. Surgery, Histopathology, Ophthalmology, Pediatrics, Pharmacology, Physiology, Rheumatology, Urology.

• Special Prerequisites:

  • *General Medicine / Surgery & Allied: Candidates must have completed 1 to 2 years of foundational training in General Medicine/Surgery (IMM cleared is mandatory).

  • Rheumatology: Candidate must have completed a primary FCPS for a second fellowship track in Rheumatology.

• Eligibility Criteria: Strictly as per the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP) guidelines.

Nursing, Technical & Administrative Positions

1. Lecturer / Senior Nursing Lecturer (Shalamar Nursing College)

• Qualification: Post RN BSN / BSN (Generic). Candidates possessing an MSN or MSPH degree will be preferred.

• Core Competencies: Teaching experience across specialized modules including Adult Health Nursing (I & II), Anatomy and Physiology (I & II), Mental Health Nursing, Community Health Nursing (I, II & III), and Teaching Methodologies.

• Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant teaching or clinical field experience.

2. Assistant Manager Internal Audit

• Qualification: Full or partially qualified CA / Qualified ACCA / CIA / MBA degree from an HEC-recognized university.

• Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years at a managerial level within Internal Audit.

• Knowledge Base: Thorough command of Generally Accepted Auditing Standards, IFRS, corporate finance practices, regulations, and applicable legal frameworks.

3. Supervisor MRI and CT Scan

• Qualification: BS in Medical Imaging Technology (MIT) or an equivalent degree from an HEC-recognized university.

• Experience: 3 to 5 years of extensive operational experience in a similar supervisory role, with proven hands-on expertise in MRI and CT imaging protocols.

4. Cardiac / Critical Care Nurse

• Qualification: Baccalaureate Nurse (B.Sc. Nursing / Post RN) along with a valid certificate/diploma in Cardiac Nursing.

• Experience: Minimum 01 year of dedicated experience in a Coronary Care Unit (CCU) inside a tertiary care hospital. Prior experience in a Cath Lab will be highly preferred.

5. Civil Engineer

• Qualification: Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering / DAE in Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification from an HEC-recognized institute.

• Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years of post-qualification structural/maintenance experience, preferably within a well-reputed healthcare facility.

• Skills: Strong written/verbal communication, interpersonal skills, and IT proficiency.
