Karachi Shipyard & Engineering Works Limited (KSEW) is seeking suitable candidates for appointment to the following positions on a contract basis.

Details of Positions

 
Sr. No. Position / Billet No. of Posts Qualification / Experience
1 Senior Deputy Manager (Ship Design) 01 Qualification: BE / BS (Electronics / Electrical / Electronic Engineering) or equivalent from a PEC-accredited program.

Experience: Minimum 05 years of relevant professional experience in marine electronics, shipbuilding, ship repair, shipyard projects, or a related marine engineering environment.

Preferred: Candidates having hands-on experience in the design, installation, integration, commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting of marine electronic and navigation systems will be preferred.

Added Advantage: Experience with GMDSS, VDR/S-VDR, ECDIS, Marine Radar, Gyro Compass, AIS, SatCom, fibre-optic systems, and other shipboard communication/navigation systems.

Additional Preference: Candidates with experience in technical planning, preparation/review of engineering documentation, system integration, and project execution will be preferred.

Age: Up to 45 years.
2 Technical Assistant 01 Qualification: DAE (Mechanical / Electrical) or equivalent.

Experience: Minimum 02–03 years' experience in the relevant field.

Preferred: Candidates with an understanding of engineering drawings and hands-on experience of MS Office and coordination skills will be preferred.

Age: Up to 45 years.
3 Steel Fabricator 03 Qualification: Middle / Matric.

Experience: Minimum 02–03 years' experience in the relevant field.

Preferred: Candidates having a relevant trade course will be preferred.

Age: Up to 45 years.
4 Electric Welder 01 Qualification: Middle / Matric.

Experience: Minimum 02–03 years' experience in the relevant field.

Preferred: Candidates having a relevant trade course will be preferred.

Age: Up to 45 years.
5 Hot Former 01 Qualification: Middle / Matric.

Experience: Minimum 02–03 years' experience in the relevant field.

Preferred: Candidates having a relevant trade course will be preferred.

Age: Up to 45 years.
