Karachi Shipyard & Engineering Works Limited is seeking suitable candidates for appointment to the following positions on a contract basis.

Position Details

1 DGM (Quality Control) 01 Qualification: BE (Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial/Metallurgy/Materials/Naval Architecture) — PEC-registered. Experience: Minimum 10–20 years relevant experience in steel construction/fabrication, shipbuilding/heavy engineering setup. Candidates having knowledge/awareness of QC standards & General Class Rules w.r.t. shipbuilding will be preferred. Up to 45 years
2 Manager (Projects) 01 Qualification: BE (Mechanical/Marine/Industrial Engg.) from HEC-recognized university — PEC-registered. Experience: 08–10 years of relevant experience in ship repair/marine engineering, heavy industrial maintenance, or multi-disciplinary project execution environments, with at least 4–5 years in a project management leadership role. Candidates having Project Management (PMP) & Primavera/MS Office certification will be given preference. Up to 45 years
3 Deputy Manager (Ship Design) 01 Qualification: BE/BS/B.Sc. Engineering in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics & Naval Architecture or equivalent from HEC-recognized university. Experience: 05 years of relevant experience with ability to understand technical drawings, manuals and advise improvements. Proficient in ERP, CAD/Engineering Software, MS Windows, Office & Software Tools. Up to 45 years
4 Deputy Manager (SB Maint) 01 Qualification: BE/B.Sc. (Mechanical/Mechatronics/Electrical/Electronics) from HEC-recognized university — PEC-Registered. Experience: Minimum 05 years' experience of installation/maintenance in Industrial, Marine, Manufacturing or Heavy Engineering setups. Strong knowledge of automation/industrial controls/mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics, pumps, gearboxes, engines & compressors etc. Ability to understand technical drawings, manuals & advise improvements. Knowledge of CMMS, PMS, Maintenance tools, and safety procedures. Hands-on MS Windows, Office and Software Tools. Up to 45 years
5 Supervisor (Ship Design) 01 Qualification: DAE (Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics) or equivalent. Experience: 05–07 years' experience in design/drafting in engineering industry. Ability to interpret engineering drawings. Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Windows, Office and Software Tools. Up to 45 years
6 Office Assistant 01 Qualification: Graduation from HEC-recognized university. Experience: At least 03–04 years of experience in relevant field. Candidates proficient in MS Office with good typing speed will be preferred. Up to 45 years
7 Chef 01 Qualification: Middle/Matric. Experience: At least 03 years experience in relevant field. Up to 45 years
8 Canteen Man 03 Qualification: Middle/Matric. Experience: At least 02–03 years experience in relevant field. Up to 36 years
9 Driver 01 Qualification: Middle/Matric. Experience: Minimum 02–03 years' experience in driving field with valid LTV driving license. Up to 45 years
10 CO2 Welder 06 Qualification: Matric/Middle/Primary. Experience: 02 years of practical experience in CO2 welding, preferably in heavy engineering industry. Up to 45 years
11 Painter 02 Qualification: Matric/Middle/Primary. Experience: 02 years of practical experience in painting, surface preparation and application of primer, paint and protective coatings. Up to 45 years
12 Fitter 01 Qualification: Matric/Middle/Primary. Experience: 02 years of practical experience in fitting, assembly and auxiliary machinery and pumps. Up to 45 years
13 Khallasi 01 Qualification: Matric/Middle/Primary. Experience: 02 years of practical experience in Rigger/Khallasi in rigging, lifting, shifting and positioning of heavy equipment. Up to 45 years
