VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

Rawalpindi Institute of Cardiology (RIC), Rawalpindi invites applications from suitable and qualified candidates for appointment under the relevant Service Rules of the Government of Punjab (including Punjab Health Department Service Rules, 2000 & 2003 and other applicable regulations).

Position Available

Senior Consultant Cardiac Surgery

Qualification Requirements

  • MBBS or equivalent medical qualification recognized by PMDC/PMC

  • FCPS / FRCS / MRCS or equivalent qualification in the relevant specialty

  • Valid registration with PMDC/PMC

  • Additional recognized qualifications (if any) will be considered as per rules

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 05 years post-graduation experience in the relevant specialty

  • Teaching experience in a recognized institution approved by PMDC/PMC

  • Research publications in recognized medical journals will be preferred

  • Experience as Assistant Professor or above in the relevant discipline will be an advantage

General Conditions

  1. Appointment will be made strictly according to the applicable Government Service Rules.

  2. Candidates already serving in Government/Semi-Government departments must apply through proper channel with departmental permission certificate (NOC).

  3. Only degrees and diplomas recognized by PMDC/PMC will be considered.

  4. Submission of fake/forged documents will lead to disqualification and legal action.

  5. The competent authority reserves the right to increase/decrease the number of posts or cancel the recruitment process at any stage without assigning any reason.

  6. Candidates must bring original degrees, diplomas, certificates, CNIC, domicile, and experience certificates at the time of interview.

  7. Incomplete applications or those received after the due date will not be entertained.

  8. No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in test/interview.

  9. Provision of false, fabricated, or bogus information will result in cancellation of candidature at any stage.
