Election Commission of Pakistan

The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) invites applications from suitable candidates to fill the following position on a contract basis through its Online Recruitment System.

Applications must be submitted on the prescribed proforma available on the official ECP website.

1. Post Details

Security Personnel (BS-07)

Number of Vacancies: 20
Domicile: Merit
Place of Posting: Candidates may be posted anywhere in Pakistan.
Contract Period: 03 years (extendable based on satisfactory performance).
Pay Scale: Pay and allowances equivalent to BS-07.

2. Required Qualification

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Minimum qualification: Matriculation or equivalent.

  • Preference will be given to candidates having experience in Law Enforcement Agencies, Armed Forces, or Civil Armed Forces.

  • Candidates applying from law enforcement agencies must have:

    • Good professional standing

    • Clean service record

3. Physical Standards

For Male Candidates

  • Height: 5 feet 7 inches

  • Chest: 33 – 34½ inches

For Female Candidates

  • Height: 5 feet 1 inch

4. Additional Requirements

Candidates must:

  • Be medically fit and mentally sound.

  • Not be affiliated with any political party.

  • Not have been retired on medical grounds (if previously in service).

  • Be willing to undergo physical endurance tests.

5. Age Limit

  • Minimum Age: 18 years

  • Maximum Age: 45 years

Age relaxation will be allowed according to the Initial Appointment to Civil Posts (Relaxation of Upper Age Limit) Rules, 1993, including 5 years general age relaxation.

6. Application Procedure

7. Important Instructions

  • Government or semi-government employees must apply through proper channel.

  • Late applications will not be accepted.

  • Only shortlisted candidates will be called for test/interview.

  • Candidates must also pass a physical endurance test.

Shortlisted candidates will later submit:

  • Attested educational documents

  • Experience certificates

  • Copy of CNIC

  • One recent passport-size photograph

  • Domicile certificate

  • Updated CV

8. General Conditions

  • No TA/DA will be provided for appearing in the test or interview.

  • The Election Commission of Pakistan reserves the right to:

    • Cancel the recruitment process partially or completely.

    • Increase or decrease the number of vacancies.

  • The contract may be extended based on satisfactory performance and approval of the authority.
