Position Under Pakistan Science Foundation Research Funded Project

The University of Gujrat invites applications for the following position under the Pakistan Science Foundation (Project No. PSF/CRP/P-UOG/CONS-239). The project is titled:

"Development of prototype platform for production of protease involved in eco-friendly leather processing in Pakistan"

This project is based in the Department of Biochemistry & Biotechnology, Faculty of Science, University of Gujrat, Hafiz Hayat Campus.

Position Details

  • Post Title: Research Associate

  • Minimum Qualification Required:

    • MPhil in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology or Biotechnology.

    • Preference will be given to candidates currently enrolled in a PhD program in the same discipline at the Department of Biochemistry and Biotechnology, University of Gujrat.

  • Age Limit: 22 to 30 years

  • Number of Posts: 01

  • Stipend: Rs. 25,000/- per month

  • Project Duration: 2 Years

  • Work Location: Hafiz Hayat Campus, University of Gujrat

Job Description

The selected candidate must demonstrate:

  • Proficiency in molecular biology techniques, including RNA/DNA isolation and PCR.

  • Experience in SDS-PAGE analysis.

  • Hands-on skills in bioinformatics tools and general scientific research.

  • Strong fundamental knowledge of basic laboratory techniques.
