Faculty Positions – Applications Invited

The University of Gujrat (UOG) invites applications from Pakistani nationals (male/female) who are dynamic, dedicated, and competent professionals, to serve at Mandi Bahauddin Sub-Campus on a contract basis.

Appointments will be initially for one (01) year, extendable up to three (03) years based on performance and institutional requirements.


Available Positions

1. Assistant Professor (Computer Science)

  • BPS: 19

  • Number of Posts: 01

  • Age Limit: 25–45 years (Relaxable under rules)

  • Nature of Appointment: Contract (1 year, extendable up to 3 years)

  • Eligibility Criteria:

    • Ph.D. in Computer Science or equivalent qualification from an HEC-recognized university/institution.


2. Lecturer (Computer Science)

  • BPS: 18

  • Number of Posts: 03

  • Age Limit: 23–35 years (Relaxable under rules)

  • Nature of Appointment: Contract (1 year, extendable up to 3 years)

  • Eligibility Criteria:

    • MS/M.Phil. (1st Division) in Computer Science or equivalent qualification (18 years of education) from an HEC-recognized university/institution.

    • No third division in the academic career.

    • Note: In case of higher qualification, the condition of third division shall not apply.


3. Assistant Professor (Business Administration)

  • BPS: 19

  • Number of Posts: 01

  • Age Limit: 25–45 years (Relaxable under rules)

  • Nature of Appointment: Contract (1 year, extendable up to 3 years)

  • Eligibility Criteria:

    • Ph.D. in Business Administration, Management, Management Sciences, Finance, Accounting & Finance, Marketing, or Human Resource Management from an HEC-recognized university/institution.


4. Lecturer (Business Administration)

  • Age Limit: 23–35 years (Relaxable under rules)

  • Nature of Appointment: Contract (1 year, extendable up to 3 years)

  • Eligibility Criteria:

    • MS/M.Phil. (1st Division) in Business Administration, Management Sciences, Finance, Marketing, Accounting & Finance, or HRM (18 years of education) from an HEC-recognized university.

    • No third division in academic career.

    • Note: In case of higher qualification, the condition of third division shall not apply.

  • Eligibility Criteria:

    • MS/M.Phil. (1st Division) in Psychology or equivalent qualification from an HEC-recognized university.

    • No third division in academic career.

    • Note: In case of higher qualification, the condition of third division shall not apply.


Application Procedure

  1. Apply Online:

    • Applications must be submitted through the UOG Job Portal:

    • Upload all required documents and the processing fee receipt by 3rd November 2025 (04:00 PM).

  2. Submit Hard Copy:

    • Hard copies of the completed online application, along with attested copies of documents, must reach the Office of the Registrar (HR Section, Room #104, Admin Block, Hafiz Hayat Campus, University of Gujrat) by 5th November 2025.

    • Applications submitted only in soft or hard form will not be accepted; both are mandatory.

  3. Documents Required:

    • Printed online application form.

    • Attested copies of degrees, transcripts, and mark sheets (verified by HEC/Boards).

    • Experience certificates, verified “Employment Verification Proforma.”

    • NOC (if applicable), CNIC, domicile, and recent passport-size photographs.

    • First page of all publications (if applicable).

  4. Processing Fee:

    • Rs. 1,000/- for Assistant Professor and Lecturer posts.

    • Deposit fee through the auto-generated challan form and attach the original receipt.


Important Terms & Conditions

  • Applications not submitted in both online and hard copy formats will be rejected.

  • Separate applications must be submitted for each position applied for.

  • Incomplete, unsigned, or false information in applications will result in disqualification.

  • Candidates currently serving in Government/Semi-Government/Autonomous Bodies (including UOG employees) must apply through proper channel with NOC and experience certificates issued by the appointing authority.

  • Experience will only be accepted if verified and documented as per Employment Verification Proforma.

  • Part-time, daily-wage, visiting, honorary, or apprentice experience will not be considered.

  • Applicants holding foreign degrees must attach HEC/IBCC equivalence certificates.

  • Only shortlisted candidates will be called for test/interview.

  • The University reserves the right to increase/decrease the number of posts or not to fill any position without assigning a reason.

  • Quotas for women, minorities, and disabled persons will be observed as per government rules.

  • Eligibility will be determined as of 3rd November 2025.

  • No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in test/interview.

  • The selected faculty may be transferred to any UOG campus as per institutional requirements.

  • Clearly mention the post applied for on the top right corner of the envelope.

  • UOG will not be responsible for any courier delays.
