The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) is a statutory autonomous body established under the Chartered Accountants Ordinance, 1961. Position Title: Regional Head – North

Location: Lahore
Reporting Line: Secretary, ICAP
Leadership Level: Member of the Senior Leadership Team

Role Overview

ICAP is seeking a highly accomplished and dynamic professional to serve as Regional Head – North. The role involves providing strategic and operational leadership for ICAP’s Northern Region, ensuring effective execution of institutional objectives while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships. The position plays a pivotal role in aligning regional operations with ICAP’s overall mission and strategic goals.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute operational plans with clearly defined actions and timelines to support ICAP’s functions across the Northern Region.

  • Oversee regional operations encompassing Examinations, Education & Training, Members’ Affairs, Legal & Corporate Services, Finance, and Information Technology, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of services.

  • Supervise and guide administrative heads of regional offices, ensuring adherence to ICAP policies, internal controls, and regulatory compliance.

  • Represent ICAP at various governmental and non-governmental forums, enhancing institutional visibility and influence across the Northern Region.

  • Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders, including ICAP members, the corporate sector, educational institutions, regulatory authorities, and government departments.

  • Contribute to strategic planning, policy implementation, and organizational development initiatives at the leadership level.


Education, Experience & Skills

The ideal candidate should possess one of the following:

  • Fellow Member of ICAP with a minimum of 15 years of post-qualification experience,
    OR

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or another relevant discipline from an HEC-recognized university, with at least 20 years of relevant professional experience, including a minimum of 05 years in a C-level or equivalent senior leadership role.

  • Proven leadership capabilities with strong expertise in strategic planning and stakeholder management.

  • Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills.

  • Demonstrated experience in managing multi-functional and geographically dispersed operations.

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.


Selection Process & Compensation

  • Shortlisted candidates will be required to undergo ICAP’s formal selection and assessment process.

  • The position offers a market-competitive remuneration package, commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications and experience.

  • Additional benefits include an ICAP-maintained car.

  • Please note that the retirement age at ICAP is 60 years.
