Career Opportunity: Regional Head – Commercial & SME (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Region)

Bank of Khyber is seeking a highly qualified, dynamic, and goal-driven professional to join its team as Regional Head – Commercial & SME for the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Region. This role presents a significant opportunity to contribute to one of Pakistan’s premier financial institutions.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Minimum Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree (Graduation) is required.

    • Preference will be given to candidates holding a Master’s degree from an HEC-recognized university.

    • Foreign degree holders must submit an equivalency certificate from the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan.

  • Experience:

    • A minimum of 15 years of credit experience in Corporate, Commercial, SME, or Retail Banking.

    • Expertise should include credit evaluation, strategy development, trade sales, and marketing.

    • Preference will be given to candidates with experience in Islamic Banking.

  • Age Limit:

    • As per the Bank’s HR policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead teams to acquire SME clients and manage portfolios.

  • Develop and implement business strategies for SME financing growth.

  • Ensure credit and trade sales comply with Shariah principles.

  • Understand and apply Government and SBP schemes/initiatives to support SME growth.

  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to achieve business and profitability goals.

  • Formulate area-wise strategies to meet SME financing objectives and monitor branch-level performance.

  • Execute any other tasks assigned by the Management.

Job Location

  • Peshawar

Reporting Line:

  • This role will report directly to the Group Head – Commercial, SME & Agriculture Finance.

Compensation:

  • Market-based remuneration will be offered.
