The Bank of Khyber (BOK), one of Pakistan's premier financial institutions, has announced a career opportunity for the position of Head Consumer Banking Division. The bank is seeking to onboard an exceptionally strong and goal-oriented professional for this exciting role.

The eligibility criteria require a minimum of Graduation, with preference given to Master's degree holders from a university recognized by the HEC of Pakistan (or foreign qualification with HEC equivalency certificate). Candidates must have a minimum of 15 years of experience in Consumer Banking or Retail Banking. Those with a proven track record in product development in Islamic Banking will have an added advantage, and experience in Shariah Compliant Banking is highly desired. The age limit will be governed under the Bank's HR Rules.

The main duties and responsibilities include developing and executing a sales growth strategy to meet targets, aligning consumer finance strategies with Shariah governance and compliance frameworks, and leading and mentoring product teams, sales teams, and credit analysts. The role also involves ensuring product pricing models align with profit-rate mechanisms and Shariah governance, leading automation and digitization of Islamic consumer finance processes, defining credit approval processes for different segments (Auto, Home, Personal Finance), ensuring timely processing and submission of proposals to the Head Retail Banking, and proposing process improvements related to credit approval and turnaround time.

This position is based at the Head Office in Peshawar and reports into the Retail Banking Group. A market-based remuneration package will be offered.
