Our client, a prestigious Bank with a growing network is looking to hire dynamic and energetic individual for the below position. These positions are based at Muzaffarabad, and Mirpur Regions of the Bank having its Head Office at Muzaffarabad, Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJ&K). The incumbent will be responsible for managing the region's entire business and operations portfolio of the bank, for enriching, implementing and maintaining effective controls in the respective region and to ensure that all policies, regulation and policies are aligned with the statutory requirements.

01 Position/Job Title Regional Head
Educational/Professional Qualifications Minimum Graduate or equivalent from HEC recognized local or foreign university / institute OR Local/International Professional Qualification/Certification.
Experience Minimum 10 years Business Development and Management Experience preferably in Banking Industry with atleast three years' experience in a similar role.
Minimum 8 years of exclusive experience preferably in diversified banks' DFs.
Profound and proven Networking, Monitoring and Evaluation Skills.
Other Skills/Expertise/Knowledge Required Business Development and Management Skills, Foster Teamwork with proficiency, Promoting Performance Culture, Building Relationships, Organizational Wisdom, People Skills, In-depth understanding of Public Sector Banks/ DFs, Organizational Culture, Change Management, Impact of Technology on business processes and consequential changes in Business Structures/ Review and Revision of Job Descriptions and Capacity Building of the employees. Having skills towards settlement/negotiation of issues.
Ideal candidates having good knowledge and would have partnered cultural transformation introduced for best banking practices.
Excellent Computer Skills (MS Word/Excel, etc.).
Good presentation and analytical skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Good people management and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage time and workload effectively.
Job Description Managing the region's entire business portfolio.
Supervise, maintain and analyze the requisite business statistics, input and analysis in developing consumer, commercial & retail banking strategy of the bank and transforming the same into practical business strategy/plan.
Coordinate with branches to achieve Advances & Deposits Targets.
Preparation of annual revenue and expense budget for regional network along with capital Budget recommendation to Head Office for approval and subsequent monitoring.
Supervise the preparation, analysis and review of the MIS reports and ensure that such reports are produced accurately and submitted on a timely basis to Region and Head Office.
Keep a close liaison with Head Office to ensure compliance of all the applicable Policy and procedures.
Maintain overall discipline within the Regional Network and take administrative decisions based on applicable policy and procedures.
Responsible for performance appraisal of the staff within the Regional Network and liaison with HR Management Division for any administrative/ disciplinary measure for smooth working.
To develop a mechanism of co-ordination within Region and Branches to ensure that effective business marketing, networking, customer service efforts are synergized.
Hunting of potential market for bank's products and develop strategy to mitigate risk appetite of the bank by maintaining profitable portfolio by minimizing NPLs. Monitor Branch, in terms of collection of regular advances and devise a strategy in co-ordination with Special Assets Management Division to monitor the recovery of slow moving and/ or stuck-up advances.
Monitor and Supervise activities within the Regional network of existing Credit portfolio in terms of segments, products, maturity, renewal, collection and identifying potential borrowers and exploring the credit appetite of the branches and approval and disbursement of proposals of branches.
Age For permanent induction: up to 42 years on the closing date of the advertisement.
For contractual induction: up to 57 years on the closing date of the advertisement.
