National Forensics Agency (NFA) Project

The National Forensics Agency (NFA) is inviting applications from qualified candidates for the following positions on a contract basis, initially until June 30, 2025.

2 Senior Scientific Officer (Conventional Forensics) 1 M.S or M.Phil. in Material Sciences, Forensic Science, or Natural Sciences from a HEC-recognized university; at least 4 years of experience as an analyst, with 2 years as an in-charge/supervisor in a designated lab. 45 Years
3 Scientific Officer (Digital Forensics) 1 M.S or M.Phil. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields from a HEC-recognized university; experience in the digital forensics field is required. 40 Years
4 Assistant Director (Admin) 1 Master’s Degree in Economics, Commerce, Management Sciences, Statistics, Supply Chain Management, Public Administration, or Human Resource Management from a HEC-recognized university; at least 4 years of post-education experience in BPS-16 or above in administration and finance in a public department. 40 Years

Application Instructions

  3. Qualifications: All candidates must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  4. Security Clearance: Proper security guarantees will be obtained for all candidates.

  5. PhD Preference: Candidates holding a PhD will be preferred and will receive a two-year exemption in work experience.

  6. Age Calculation: Age will be calculated up to the closing date for application submission. Age relaxation is permissible as per government regulations.

  7. Contract Terms: After the contract expires on June 30, 2025, or after the promulgation of the proposed NFA Act (whichever comes first), project officers will have the option to be absorbed into the Agency or accept any new terms and conditions offered by the NFA.

  8. Government Employees: Candidates in government service or autonomous bodies must apply through proper channels.

  9. Shortlisting: Only shortlisted candidates will be called for written tests and interviews.

  10. Application Completeness: Incomplete applications and those received after the closing date will not be entertained.

  11. Travel Allowance: No TA/DA will be admissible for attending tests/interviews.

  12. Post Cancellation: The department reserves the right to cancel one or all posts at any stage.
