(Project: Expansion of Safe City Islamabad)

Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police invites applications from qualified, experienced, and competent professionals through an open competitive process for appointment on a purely contractual and non-transferable basis under the project titled “Expansion of Safe City Islamabad.”

Details of the available positions are given below:

Available Positions

1. Deputy Project Director (PPS-09)

• Number of Posts: 01

• Maximum Age: Up to 45 Years

Qualification:

• Minimum 16 years of education in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Telecom Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering Management, or equivalent

• Project Management certifications such as PMP / PRINCE2 preferred

• Additional certifications in ITIL, ICT, or Security Systems will be considered an added advantage

Experience:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in large-scale ICT / Safe City / Command & Control Center projects

• At least 3–5 years of leadership experience managing multi-stakeholder government projects, including planning, implementation, monitoring & evaluation (M&E), and reporting

2. Deputy Executive Officer (Field Assets) – PPS-08

• Number of Posts: 01

• Maximum Age: Up to 40 Years

Qualification:

• Minimum 16 years of education in Electronics, Telecom, Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering

• Relevant certifications in field operations, network infrastructure, or electrical systems will be preferred

Experience:

• Minimum 05 years of hands-on experience in field deployment or maintenance of ICT/Telecom infrastructure

• Practical knowledge of OEM equipment, outdoor installations, and field asset documentation

3. Deputy Executive Officer (Data Center) – PPS-08

• Number of Posts: 01

• Maximum Age: Up to 40 Years

Qualification:

• Minimum 16 years of education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent

• Relevant professional training and certifications preferred

Experience:

• Minimum 05 years of hands-on experience in data center operations, virtualization, multi-vendor OS deployments, and storage management

• Strong expertise in L2/L3 enterprise networking

• Working experience with Huawei, Cisco, Fortinet, or other core devices

• Familiarity with SOC/NOC environments and multi-vendor system integration

• Relevant certifications will be a plus

4. Deputy Executive Officer (Software) – PPS-08

• Number of Posts: 01

• Maximum Age: Up to 40 Years

Qualification:

• Minimum 16 years of education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other relevant engineering disciplines

• Certifications or training in Agile/Scrum, DevOps, Secure Coding, ITS, traffic control systems, or signal optimization preferred

Experience:

• Minimum 05 years of hands-on experience in enterprise software development, documentation, quality assurance, and system integration

• Experience in deploying and managing solutions for surveillance systems, command centers, or public-sector platforms

• Familiarity with APIs, analytics tools, VMS/VAS systems, and database environments

• At least 03 years of experience in Artificial Intelligence (AI) / Machine Learning solutions

5. Assistant Executive Officer (Traffic / ITS) – PPS-07

• Number of Posts: 01

• Maximum Age: Up to 35 Years

Qualification & Experience:

• Minimum 16 years of education in a relevant engineering discipline

• Understanding of Intelligent Traffic Systems (ITS) deployment preferred

• Experience with traffic sensors, controllers, adaptive traffic management systems, and C3 integration will be an added advantage
