1. INTRODUCTION

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the following project-based position under the "Centre of Excellence for Autism Spectrum Disorder at H-8/4, Islamabad" – a flagship initiative of the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training, Government of Pakistan.

This position is being offered purely on a contract basis under the PSDP-funded project pay package, which will remain valid for the duration of the project life. The appointment will be governed by the terms and conditions applicable to project staff as per government rules.

3. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

 
Criteria Requirement
Educational Qualification Sixteen (16) years of education in Project Management or Civil Engineering from a university/institution recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).
Experience Minimum 08 years of relevant experience, including 05 years in project management or implementation. Must possess sound knowledge of project management fundamentals, particularly the Government of Pakistan's project planning, management processes, and procedures.
Preferred Experience Candidates having prior experience in the execution and/or management of special education projects or initiatives will be given preference.
Age Limit Maximum 63 years as of the closing date for submission of applications.

The Project Director will be responsible for:

  • Overall planning, execution, monitoring, and completion of the Centre of Excellence project.

  • Ensuring compliance with PSDP guidelines and government project management procedures.

  • Coordination with stakeholders, contractors, and relevant government departments.

  • Financial and administrative oversight of the project.

  • Reporting progress to the competent authority as per prescribed timelines.
