Planning and Development Department Govt of the Punjab Jobs Detail

Program Implementation Unit (PIU), Planning & Development (R&D) Board, Government of Punjab is looking after the monitoring, coordination & implementation of multiple donor funded programs / initiatives. The PIU, R&D Board is looking for dynamic, result oriented, energetic and skilled individual for the following position which are required to be filled immediately. Eligible candidates, both from private and public sectors are encouraged to apply for the position. Qualifications, Experience and skills required are mentioned as under:

  1. Master degree/BSc./BS Hons, in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, and Public Administration. Business Economics. Development Studies, Management&
  2. Planning etc. from a reputed / recognized foreign university;
  3. At least eight years' experience in Public sector, private non-government sector international organization;
  4. Prior experience of having worked for foreign aided projects in governance,
  5. Improving business environment, competitiveness or agriculture will be highly preferred.
  6. Candidates who are well versed with World Bank's Program Implementation and having prior work experience on managing Program For Results instrument will be highly preferred.
  7. Communication, report writing and presentation skills:
  8. Maximum age 45 years.

Market based remuneration package will be offered to the selected candidates from private sector as per PC-I. The salary package for Government servants will be as per applicable government policy.
