Faculty Positions Required

Applications are invited on the prescribed form for various faculty and non-faculty positions from eligible candidates having Sindh domicile. The application must include attested photocopies of all relevant documents and a non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 3000/- via Demand Draft/Pay Order in favor of Director Finance, Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University, Shaheed Benazirabad. The application forms can be downloaded from www.sbbusba.edu.pk/career or obtained from the Directorate of Human Resource, Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University. Applications must reach within the due date mentioned in the newspaper advertisement.

Faculty Positions (Two years extendable/to be continued)

1. Professor (BPS-21)

Field: Computer Science / Information Technology
Qualifications & Experience:

  • PhD in the relevant field recognized by HEC
  • 15 years of teaching/research experience at an HEC-recognized university or research organization
  • 10 years of post-PhD teaching or professional experience in a national or international reputed organization
  • Minimum 15 research publications (5 within the last 5 years in HEC-recognized journals)

2. Lecturers (BPS-18)

Non-Faculty Positions

1. Registrar (BPS-20)

Tenure: 3 years (extendable)
Age Limit: Maximum 50 years (relaxable for highly qualified and experienced candidates)
Qualifications & Experience:

  • First-class MA/MBA/BE (preferably in the first division) from an HEC-recognized university
  • 17 years of relevant experience in BPS-17 or above at a recognized university, board, or government department
  • Knowledge of government regulations and the conduct of statutory body meetings

2. Controller of Examinations (BPS-20)

Tenure: 3 years (extendable)
Age Limit: Maximum 50 years (relaxable)
Qualifications & Experience:

  • First-class MA/MBA/BE or equivalent degree from an HEC-recognized university
  • 17 years of relevant experience in BPS-17 or above
  • Thorough knowledge of examination procedures and statutory regulations

Application Guidelines:

  • Application Submission: Candidates applying for the post of Professor (BPS-21) should submit three copies of their bio-data along with the required documents, properly bound, showing details of experience and qualifications.
  • Domicile: Only Sindh domicile holders are eligible.
  • Multiple Posts: Candidates applying for more than one post should submit separate applications with separate Demand Drafts for each post.
  • Age Limit: Upper age limits may be relaxed for suitable candidates.
  • Incomplete Applications: Applications without necessary documents, certificates, or processing fees will not be entertained.
  • Application Deadline: 4th November 2024 at 6:00 PM
  • Shortlisting: Only shortlisted candidates will be called for a test/interview. No TA/DA will be provided.
