Vacancy Announcement for Project Position

The Benazir Bhutto Shaheed University of Technology and Skill Development, Khairpur Mirs, invites applications from eligible candidates holding Sindh domicile for the following contract-based project position. This position is offered under the HEC-funded project titled:

"Up-gradation of Govt. College of Technology (GCT) Khairpur Mirs into the Benazir Bhutto Shaheed University of Technology and Skill Development, Khairpur Mirs"

🧾 Position Details

🔹 Position Title: Project Coordinator
🔹 Pay Scale Equivalent: BPS-18
🔹 Salary Package: Rs. 125,000/- per month (fixed)
🔹 Project Type: HEC funded (PSDP project)
🔹 No. of Positions: 01

📚 Minimum Qualifications:

  • Preferably First Division B.E./BSc in Civil Engineering from an HEC-recognized university/institute.

  • Valid PEC registration certificate is required.

🛠️ Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in BPS-17 or equivalent.

  • Should have relevant expertise in building construction, particularly in the execution of development projects in public sector organizations such as universities, institutes, government/semi-government bodies, or autonomous organizations.

  • Must be well-versed in tendering procedures and SPPRA/PPRA rules.

  • Computer literacy will be given preference.

🎂 Maximum Age Limit: 62 years (as on closing date)

General Instructions

  1. Application Form:

    • Use the prescribed proforma available on the University’s website.

    • Submit a non-refundable application processing fee of Rs. 3,000/- via Bank Draft/Pay Order in favor of The Benazir Bhutto Shaheed University of Technology and Skill Development, Khairpur Mirs (Habib Bank Ltd only).

  2. Document Submission:

    • Attach attested copies of all academic documents, CNIC, domicile, and experience certificates.

    • Send complete applications through courier/registered post.

    • By-hand submissions will not be accepted.

  3. Selection Process:

    • The University reserves the right to cancel the advertised position(s) without assigning any reason.

    • Shortlisted candidates may be called for a written test/interview.

    • No TA/DA will be provided for the test/interview.

    • Incomplete or late applications will not be entertained.

    • Experience must be after acquiring the required qualification. Part-time/honorary/internship experience will not be counted.

    • Government/Semi-Government/Autonomous body employees must apply through proper channel with NOC.

    • Quota for women, minorities, and differently-abled persons will be observed as per policy.

    • Age relaxation will be granted as per Government of Sindh policy.

    • Clearly mention the post applied for on the top-right corner of the envelope.
