CAREER OPPORTUNITIES

The Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB), an apex autonomous body under the Ministry of IT & Telecommunication, is responsible for the development of Pakistan’s IT and IT-enabled Services (ITeS) sector, promoting exports, and strengthening the global presence of Pakistan’s tech industry.

PSEB invites applications from qualified professionals for its PSDP project:

“National Semiconductor HR Development Program – Phase I”

(Contract Basis)

1. Available Positions

1. Project Director (PPS-11)

Age Limit: Maximum 62 years

Qualification:

  • Minimum 16 years of education from an HEC-recognized institution in:
    • Project Management
    • Engineering (B.Sc.)
    • MBA / MPA
    • MBBS / MPH
    • Economics or relevant field

Additional Advantages:

  • Master’s degree in Project Management (+5 marks)
  • National/International diploma in Project Management (+3 marks)

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years in public sector project management/implementation
  • Strong knowledge of project management fundamentals
  • Preference for candidates with successful completion of similar projects

2. Director – Curriculum, Monitoring & Evaluation (PPS-10)

Age Limit: Up to 55 years

Qualification:

  • Minimum 16 years of education in:
    • Engineering (Electrical/Electronic/Microelectronics/Semiconductor Technology)
    • Computer Science / ICT
    • Engineering Management / Business Administration
    • Education / Public Administration / Economics or related fields

Preferred:

  • 18 years (MS/MPhil) or PhD in relevant disciplines
  • Certifications in:
    • Curriculum Development
    • Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E)
    • Quality Assurance
    • Project Management

Experience:

  • Minimum 12 years post-qualification experience
  • At least 5 years in leadership/managerial role

Additional Experience Preferred:

  • Curriculum development for engineering/ICT/semiconductor programs
  • Working with accreditation and quality assurance bodies
  • Monitoring & evaluation of large-scale training programs
  • Collaboration with universities, industry, and government bodies

3. Director – Training & Placements (PPS-10)

Age Limit: Up to 55 years

Qualification:

  • Minimum 16 years of education in:
    • Engineering / Microelectronics / Semiconductor Technology
    • Computer Science / ICT
    • Management Sciences / HR Development
    • Business Administration / Economics / Public Administration

Preferred:

  • MS/MPhil or PhD (18 years education)
  • International certifications in:
    • Workforce Development
    • Career Services / Placement Management
    • Project Management

Experience:

  • Minimum 12 years post-qualification experience
  • At least 5 years in leadership role

Preferred Experience:

  • Managing training & workforce development programs
  • Industry collaboration for placements & internships
  • Designing job placement systems & industry engagement initiatives
  • Experience with VLSI or advanced tech training programs
  • Familiarity with job-matching platforms and labor market tools
