The Higher Education Commission (HEC), Pakistan invites applications from bright and motivated Pakistani/AJK nationals for the prestigious Post-Doctoral Fellowship Programme (Phase-III, Batch-V).

This initiative aims to provide opportunities to Pakistani scholars to gain advanced research experience at top-ranked international institutions, contributing to the academic and scientific advancement of Pakistan.

? Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible, the applicant must:

Hold a PhD degree from an HEC-recognized local or foreign university (with HEC attestation or equivalence).

Secure a placement/acceptance letter from a Top 200 QS-ranked university or research institute.

Be a regular faculty member or researcher in an HEC-recognized university or public sector R&D organization in Pakistan.

Have not previously availed any post-doctoral fellowship, whether funded or self-funded.

Be 45 years of age or younger as of October 30, 2025.

Have completed a minimum of 5 years' work experience in Pakistan, if applying after completing a foreign PhD.
