GOVERNMENT OF THE PUNJAB

AGRICULTURE DEPARTMENT

SITUATION VACANT

Applications are invited from eligible candidates domiciled in Punjab for recruitment on a contract basis under the development project:

“Transformation of Agricultural Information through Digital Inclusion and Dissemination (2025–27)”

AVAILABLE POSITIONS

1. Non-Linear Editor (PPS-06)

  • No. of Posts: 02
  • Age Limit: Maximum 45 years
  • Salary: Rs. 130,000/- per month (with annual increment)

Qualification & Experience:

  • Graduate (minimum 2nd division) from a recognized university
  • At least 2 years of relevant post-qualification experience in editing/media production or related field

2. Driver (PPS-03)

  • No. of Posts: 02
  • Age Limit: Maximum 35 years
  • Salary: Rs. 43,750/- per month (with annual increment)

Qualification & Experience:

  • Minimum Matric pass
  • Valid LTV driving license holder
  • At least 5 years driving experience

IMPORTANT TERMS & CONDITIONS

  1. No relaxation in upper age limit will be granted.
  2. Equivalence certificates from HEC or relevant authority must be provided if applicable.
  3. Retired government employees are not eligible.
  4. Appointments are:
    • Purely contractual
    • Temporary and non-transferable
    • Post-specific and non-pensionable
    • Not liable for regularization
    • Valid up to 30-06-2027
  5. If project duration changes, contracts will be adjusted accordingly.
  6. Recruitment will be strictly on Punjab merit basis as per approved criteria.

  11. Incomplete or late applications will not be accepted
  12. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for test/interview
  13. No TA/DA will be provided
