Job Opportunities: Directorate General of Archaeology, Punjab

The Tourism, Archaeology and Museums Department (Government of the Punjab) is seeking qualified professionals for the "Establishment of Program Management Unit (PMU) for Punjab Tourism Rehabilitation and Revamping Projects."

Vacant Positions & Requirements

1. Conservation & Design Section

  • Post: Chief Conservationist (Built Heritage) (PPS-11)

  • Posts: 01 | Max Age: 65

  • Education: PhD or Master’s in Civil Engineering or Architecture (HEC recognized). Must be registered with PEC or PCATP.

  • Experience: 10 years (for PhD) or 15 years (for Master’s) in conservation, restoration, or heritage construction.

2. Development Section

  • Post: Horticulture Expert (PPS-08)

  • Posts: 01 | Max Age: 40

  • Education: Master’s in Horticulture (Specialization in Landscaping and Floriculture).

  • Experience: Minimum 05 years in horticulture and landscape work.

3. Field Implementation Unit

  • Post: Procurement Officer (PPS-08)

  • Posts: 02 | Max Age: 40

  • Education: Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Law, or Economics.

  • Experience: 07 years (for Bachelor’s) or 05 years (for Master’s) in procurement, project administration, or business development.

4. Specialized Administrative Wing

  • Post: Tourism Development Specialist (PPS-08)

  • Posts: 01 | Max Age: 45

  • Education: Bachelor’s in Hospitality, Tourism Management, or Cultural Heritage Management.

  • Experience: Minimum 05 years in tourism planning, destination marketing, or visitor-services.
