POSITIONS VACANT

Applications are invited from Pakistani nationals to fill the following positions in the Higher Education Commission (HEC):

1. Member (Strategic Planning)

  • Tenure of Contract: 2 years (Extendable)
  • Salary Package: Rs. 650,000/- (All inclusive)
  • No. of Post: One
  • Quota: Merit
  • Place of Posting: Islamabad
  • Maximum Age: 62 Years

Minimum Eligibility:
PhD degree in any discipline, with a minimum of 20 years of distinguished experience in higher education, research, or academic administration in the Government or Private sector. At least five years of service at a leadership and strategic position and a proven record of strategic planning, program management, and good governance are mandatory.

2. Member (Quality Assurance)

  • Tenure of Contract: 2 years (Extendable)

  • Quota: Merit
  • Place of Posting: Islamabad

Minimum Eligibility:

Minimum Eligibility:
PhD degree in any discipline, preferably in STEM subjects, with at least 20 years of distinguished experience in teaching, research, and/or academic management. At least five years of service in a leadership position and a proven record of leading senior academic or research positions are mandatory.

  • Pay Scale: BPS-22 (Regular)
  • Minimum Age: 45 Years
  • Maximum Age: 55 Years

  • Quota: Punjab

Minimum Eligibility:
PhD degree in any discipline with 22 years of experience in teaching/research/management/leadership/administration in BPS-17 and above or equivalent, including at least five years of experience in BPS-21 or equivalent in a Government/Semi-Government organization.

Candidates with research publications in international journals will be preferred.

5. Adviser (Global Engagement)

  • Pay Scale: BPS-21 (Regular)

  • Maximum Age: 55 Years

  • Quota: Punjab

Minimum Eligibility:

  • PhD: 18 years of experience in the relevant field in BPS-17 and above, including five years in BPS-20 or equivalent.
  • MPhil: 20 years of experience in the relevant field in BPS-17 and above, including five years in BPS-20 or equivalent.
  • Master's Degree: 22 years of experience in the relevant field in BPS-17 and above, including five years in BPS-20 or equivalent.

Candidates with research publications in international journals will be preferred.
