Job Opportunities (Contract Basis)

Applications are invited for appointment against various positions on a lump-sum contract basis for a period of three (3) years at the Jinnah Institute of Cardiology (JIC), Lahore, under the Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education Department.

1. Medical Director

  • BPS: 11
  • No. of Posts: 1

Educational Qualification

  • MBBS or equivalent qualification recognized by HEC/PMDC
  • MD / MS / FCPS / MRCP with CCT
    OR Diplomate American Board
    OR Equivalent qualification in Cardiology/Cardiac Surgery

Experience

  • Minimum 10 years post-fellowship experience
  • At least 5 years in clinical leadership role

2. Senior Consultant Pathologist

  • BPS: 10
  • No. of Posts: 2

Qualification

  • MBBS with FCPS / PhD / MPhil / MSc (2 years) in relevant subject
    OR equivalent qualification

Experience

  • Minimum 6 years practical experience after post-graduation

Research Requirement

  • Minimum 2 research papers in recognized journals (PMDC/HEC indexed)

3. Consultant Pathologist

Qualification

  • MBBS with FCPS / PhD / MPhil / MSc
    OR D.C Pathology or equivalent

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years experience after post-graduation

Research

  • Minimum 2 research publications

5. Consultant (Various Specialties)

  • Same as Senior Consultant

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years post-graduation experience

6. Nursing Officer / Charge Nurse (Female)

Qualification

  • BSc Nursing (4 Years) with valid registration from Pakistan Nursing Council
    OR
  • Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery + Post RN

Age Limit

  • 25 – 35 years

Experience

  • Experience as Charge Nurse in a reputed hospital
  • Preference for Cardiology / ICU experience

Tenure

  • 4 years contract, extendable based on performance
