Organization Overview

The Pakistan National Shipping Corporation (PNSC) Group of Companies — the National Flag Carrier undertaking global shipping operations — requires high-caliber, result-oriented professionals for the position of Manager (Legal).

Position Manager (Legal)
Age Limit Up to 55 years
Qualification LLB or preferably LLM from a reputable institution recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC); foreign qualification in Law also acceptable from a reputable institution recognized by HEC
Minimum Experience 10 years of professional standing experience in a reputable law firm/company
Core Expertise Required Corporate law, public procurement laws, tax laws, civil laws, and service matters; experience in industrial relations, trade unions, and trans-province matters

Preferred Additional Qualifications

Candidates with the following will be given preference:

  • a) Knowledge of Shipping Laws, admiralty jurisdiction, Merchant Shipping Laws, MLC-2006, SOLAS, STCW, Law of the Sea, Arbitration, legislation in shipping laws, ship arrest, and sale/purchase.

  • b) Experience handling legal matters of shipping office, MMD, and Ministry of Maritime Affairs.
