Position 1: Manager (Textile)

Scale: MP-III
Number of Positions: 1

Job Overview

The Manager (Textile) will be responsible for supporting the Ministry in matters related to the textile and apparel sectors. The role requires expertise in textile engineering, textile technology, textile sciences, or textile management, along with experience in government policies and development programs concerning the textile industry.

Educational Qualification and Experience

Option 1

• Ph.D. in:
  • Textile Engineering
  • Textile Technology
  • Textile Sciences
  • Textile/Apparel Management
• Degree must be obtained from an HEC-recognized local or foreign university.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in the public and/or private sector.
• Experience must include involvement in government policies and programs related to textiles and apparel.

Option 2

• Master's degree in:
  • Textile Engineering
  • Textile Technology
  • Textile Sciences
  • Textile/Apparel Management
• Degree must be obtained from an HEC-recognized local or foreign university.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in the public and/or private sector.

Job Overview

Terms and Conditions

Recruitment Policy

• Recruitment will be conducted under the Management Pay Scales (MP Scales) Policy, 2020, issued by the Establishment Division, Government of Pakistan, and amended from time to time.

Contract Duration

• Initial appointment will be on a contract basis for three (03) years.
• The contract may be extended annually for up to two (02) additional years, subject to satisfactory performance.
