Vacancy Announcement

The National Disaster Risk Management Fund (NDRMF) is a government-owned, not-for-profit company, established under Section 42 of the Companies Act 2017. Its mission is to enhance Pakistan’s resilience against climatic and other natural hazards by financing relevant projects. The Fund also aims to strengthen the Government’s capacity to effectively respond to disasters.

NDRMF invites applications from vibrant and qualified professionals for the following Islamabad-based position on a performance-based contract:

Maximum Age: 57 years

Required Qualification & Experience

  • Minimum Education: Master’s degree (16 years of education) in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field.

  • Preferred Education: PhD or other advanced degrees with specific research in Disaster/Climate Financing (added advantage).

  • Research Focus: Candidates with published work or contributions in disaster risk management, disaster risk financing, insurance, or related areas will be given preference.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 08 to 10 years of professional experience.

  • At least 02–03 years of direct experience in disaster risk financing, financial management, climate finance, or related roles.

  • Proven background in designing and implementing financial products or mechanisms for disaster risk reduction.

  • Strong experience in funding mobilization and building partnerships.

    • Internships, honorary, part-time, and apprentice work will not be considered as experience.

    • All qualifications must be HEC verified or accompanied by HEC equivalence certificates for foreign degrees.

    • Originals must be produced at the time of the interview.

    • Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for a test/interview.

    • Remuneration will be competitive and determined by NDRMF standards, based on the candidate’s qualifications and experience.

    • Any false or misleading information may lead to termination of employment at any stage.
