The AKES, Pakistan Education Office, Gilgit-Baltistan invites applications from qualified and interested candidates for the following positions.
Location: AKES Pakistan Education Office, Gilgit-Baltistan
The Manager Academics will be responsible for maintaining and improving the academic quality of AKES schools. The main duties include:
Ensuring school improvement and academic development.
Supporting professional development of teachers and staff.
Managing student assessment systems.
Conducting monitoring and evaluation of AKES schools.
Providing professional and academic support to Regional School Development Units (RSDUs) and schools.
Preparing short-term and long-term academic development plans in collaboration with the General Manager.
Coordinating with government and non-government organizations, educational agencies, volunteers, and community representatives.
Travelling frequently within the Gilgit-Baltistan region for monitoring and support.
The ideal candidate must have:
A Master’s degree in any subject.
Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to travel extensively within the region.
Institution: Aga Khan Higher Secondary School
Location: Gilgit-Baltistan
The Principal will provide leadership and manage all academic and administrative operations of the school. Responsibilities include:
Providing strategic leadership to the institution.
Developing goals and objectives for school development.
Preparing strategies and educational programs to achieve institutional goals.
Maintaining a high standard of education and academic excellence.
Creating an open, supportive, and conducive learning environment.
Working closely with teachers, students, parents, and the community.
The ideal candidate should have:
At least a Master’s degree in a relevant field.
Minimum 10 years of teaching or educational management experience in a reputable institution.
Strong communication, classroom management, and leadership skills.
Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
Experience working with parents and community stakeholders.
