Part-Time Appointment for Legal Advisor

In accordance with the instructions provided in Government of Punjab, Law Department Letter No. 1/2008/11941-2-Gen dated 14 May 2011, and under reference No. SO (ADMN-III): Misc/2025/1100 dated 17-03-2025, WASA Gujranwala requires the services of one part-time Legal Advisor.

Terms of Employment:

1. Importance

The following qualifications and conditions are required for the position:

a) Educational Qualification:
Minimum B.A. and L.L.B.

b) The applicant must be enrolled with the Lahore High Court.

c) The candidate must have a minimum of five (5) years of legal practice experience.

2. Duration of Appointment:

  • The appointment will be for a period of two years, based on the recommendations of the Government-approved committee.

  • However, it may be terminated at any time by either the Government of Punjab or WASA Gujranwala with one month’s notice or one month’s salary in lieu of notice.

3. Monthly Remuneration:

  • A fixed salary of PKR 30,000 per month will be offered.

  • No additional case-to-case fees will be paid.

4. Application Procedure:

Interested candidates may submit their applications on plain paper to the undersigned office by 16 June 2025.
The application must be accompanied by attested copies of the following documents:

  • CNIC

  • Educational qualification certificates

  • Lahore High Court enrollment certificate

5. Responsibilities:

  • Selected candidates will be required to appear on behalf of WASA Gujranwala in various courts for all types of cases.

  • Additionally, they must provide legal opinions on legal matters related to the agency.
