WATER AND SANITATION AGENCY (WASA), MANDI BAHAUDDIN

CAREER OPPORTUNITY: APPOINTMENT OF LEGAL ADVISOR

WASA Mandi Bahauddin, in accordance with the Government of Punjab Law Department (Letter No. Gen-2-1/2008/1941, Dated: 14 May 2011), invites applications for the position of Legal Advisor.

1. Candidate Eligibility

Applicants must meet the following professional and educational criteria:

  • Educational Qualification: Minimum of a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B).

  • Professional Enrollment: Must be a practicing advocate enrolled in the Lahore High Court.

  • Experience: A minimum of eight (08) years of active legal practice experience is mandatory.

2. Terms & Tenure of Employment

Feature Description
Duration Initial contract of two (02) years.
Approval Subject to the recommendations of the government-approved committee.
Termination Either party may terminate the contract with one month's prior notice or payment of one month's salary in lieu thereof.

3. Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be expected to:

  • Represent WASA Mandi Bahauddin in various courts of law for all types of litigation.

  • Provide formal legal opinions on cases and administrative matters related to the institution.

4. Application Procedure

  • Lahore High Court Enrollment Certificate.
