INTERNATIONAL POST-DOCTORAL FELLOWSHIP PROGRAMME (PHASE–II)

The Sindh Higher Education Commission (Sindh HEC) invites applications from eligible candidates for the International Post-Doctoral Fellowship Programme (Phase–II).

This prestigious program aims to enhance research capacity, academic excellence, and international collaboration by providing opportunities to faculty members and higher education professionals of Sindh to undertake post-doctoral research at internationally recognized institutions.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

Academic Qualification
- Must hold a Ph.D. degree from an HEC-recognized local or foreign university.
- Candidates with a foreign Ph.D. must possess an HEC Equivalence Certificate.
- The Ph.D. degree must be duly attested.
Employment Status
- Must be a regular employee of a public or private sector university / Degree Awarding Institution (DAI) / Higher Education Institution (HEI) in Sindh.
- Professionals working in regulatory bodies of higher education in Sindh may also apply.
Age Limit
- Must not be more than 50 years of age on the closing date of application submission.
Work Experience
- Preferably possess five (05) years of recognized work experience in Sindh after completion of Ph.D.
Host Institution Requirement
- A placement letter (on official letterhead) from:
  - A Top 200 QS World Ranking University, or
  - A Top 200 QS World Subject Ranking research institute will be preferred.
- In case of placement at a Top 500 QS World Ranking University, the academic standing and research profile of the host supervisor will be thoroughly reviewed.
Domicile Requirement
- Must hold Domicile and Permanent Residence Certificate (PRC–Form C) of Sindh Province.
Gender Inclusion
- Female researchers are strongly encouraged to apply.

- Recover the full fellowship amount with or without penalty, even after award.
Incomplete applications, applications without required documents, or without necessary NOCs will not be entertained.
Sindh HEC reserves the right to postpone or cancel the process at any stage without assigning any reason.
