SITUATION VACANT

Khyber Medical University General Hospital and Research Centre (KMU-GH&RC) has been established to provide both general and specialized care to the community. The center aims to foster a collaborative environment among clinicians and researchers to achieve advancements in health sciences and quality of care.

KMU Peshawar invites applications from Pakistani citizens (both male and female) for the following position. Applications must reach the undersigned by 9th September 2024 for in-country candidates and 16th September 2024 for candidates applying from abroad.

Position Details

Post Name: Hospital Director
Pay Scale: Equivalent to BPS-20 (Fixed Term & Fixed Pay Basis)
Contract Duration: Initially for three years, extendable upon satisfactory performance
Age Limit: Up to 55 years
Number of Posts: 1

Eligibility, Qualification & Experience:

  • Essential: MBBS Degree with Post Graduation in Hospital or Health Services Management, Public Health, or Public Administration, or American Board of Quality Assurance, or any equivalent management qualification from a recognized institution.
  • Experience: Minimum five years at a senior management/director level position in a hospital.
  • Preferred: Candidates with FCPS/FRCS/FRCP/MRCP/MS/MD or a postgraduate equivalent clinical degree registered by PM&DC.

Main Responsibilities:

The Hospital Director will be responsible for all administrative functions of the hospital, including but not limited to:

  • Finance and Budgeting
  • Ancillary Services
  • Building Maintenance
  • Human Resource Management
  • Procurement
  • Quality Assurance / Accreditation with Regulatory Bodies

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

  1. Application Submission:

    • Applications must be submitted on the prescribed form available on the KMU website: www.kmu.edu.pk.
    • Attach three attested recent passport-size photographs, attested copies of educational testimonials (degrees/certificates & DMCs), experience certificates, and a copy of the Computerized National Identity Card.
    • Include a bank receipt of Rs. 2000/- (non-refundable) deposited in Online Account No. 0977029551007356, Muslim Commercial Bank (MCB) Limited, in favor of Khyber Medical University as the application processing fee.

  2. Submission Deadline:

    • Applications should reach the undersigned by 9th September 2024 for in-country candidates and 16th September 2024 for candidates applying from abroad.

  3. For In-Service Candidates:

    • Apply through the proper channel with an NOC from the concerned Departments/Organizations along with the application forms.

  4. Selection Process:

    • Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the test/interview.
    • No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.

  5. Incomplete Applications:

    • Incomplete applications or those received after the due date will not be entertained.

  6. Advertisement Cancellation:

    • If the advertisement is withdrawn after the post has been advertised, a corrigendum canceling the advertisement will be published.

  7. Rights Reserved:

    • The competent authority reserves the right to increase/decrease or cancel the number of posts.
