Bank of Khyber is seeking applications from exceptionally strong and goal-oriented professionals for the following position:

📌 Position Title

Head Financial Control Division / Financial Controller

🎓 Eligibility Criteria

Minimum Education Required:

  • Qualified CA, ACCA, ACMA, or CFA (local or international)

Experience Required:

  • At least 10 years of experience in Audit or Finance within a reputable organization

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting & financial reporting and/or management reporting in a Financial Institution

  • Preference: Candidates with prior experience as a Financial Controller in a Financial Institution

📋 Main Duties / Responsibilities

  • Stay updated with applicable laws, regulations, and standards, assessing their impact on financial statements and control functions

  • Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and completeness of statutory and regulatory financial reporting

  • Oversee expense monitoring, pre-audit, checking, and approval in accordance with laws, policies, approval matrix, and budgetary limits

  • Assist the CFO in finance strategy development and ensure proper ICFR (Internal Controls over Financial Reporting)

  • Lead and initiate process improvements and automation within the finance function

  • Ensure effective and efficient overall functioning of financial control

  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the Chief Financial Officer

📍 Location

  • Head Office – Peshawar

  • Reports directly to: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

🏷️ Grade

  • Up to SVP (Senior Vice President), depending on candidate’s experience and profile

💰 Remuneration

  • Market-based remuneration package will be offered
