In line with our strategy, the Bank is looking for talented, dedicated and experienced professional(s) for the following position of Group Chief Inclusive Development Group (SEVP) based at Karachi, Pakistan.

| Educational/Professional Qualification | Minimum Bachelor's degree from a local or International university/college/institute recognized by the HEC of Pakistan in Business Administration/Finance/Economics/Management/related discipline. Candidates possessing a Master's degree and/or certifications in Development Finance/Inclusive Finance/Sustainable Finance/SME/Agricultural Finance/or related fields will be preferred. |
| Experience | Minimum 18 years of working experience, of which 12 years in Banking and/or Financial Sector, including at least 05 years as Head of Retail Banking OR SME and/or Agri and/or Commercial business. |
| Other Skills/Expertise/Knowledge Required | Preference will be given to the candidates having experience in managing diversified banking portfolios, including SME, agriculture, commercial lending and development-focused banking operations. Experience in overseeing multi-divisional business operations, Board-level committees oversight, strategic planning, governance and working closely with senior management. Proven leadership in developing and implementing sustainability, green finance, financial inclusion and development finance initiatives, including stakeholder engagement and strategic partnerships with DFIs and regulators. Strong leadership, people management and strategic decision-making skills with the ability to lead multi-divisional teams and drive institutional performance. Strong understanding of SME, agriculture, microfinance, inclusive/development banking within a regulated environment. Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage effectively with Boards, regulators and senior management. High integrity and strong governance mindset with sound analytical and risk management capabilities and the ability to deliver results in a complex, regulated and performance-driven environment. |
To lead the Government of Pakistan's initiatives for SME, Agriculture and other program-based lending by ensuring effective development and implementation of suitable financing solutions for economic growth.
To support in implementing the Bank's Green Banking, ESS, and Sustainable Finance strategy in line with SBP guidelines, best international practices, and the Bank's strategic objectives.
To support in developing and promoting sustainable finance and green lending initiatives including renewable energy, climate agriculture, financial inclusion, and environmentally responsible investments.
To oversee ESG integration and climate risk considerations across the Bank's business, credit, investment, and operational frameworks while ensuring compliance with regulatory and sustainability reporting requirements.
To establish strategic partnerships with regulators, DFIs, donors, and development organizations for advancing sustainability initiatives, green opportunities, and inclusive development programs.
To provide overall strategic leadership and policy direction to the Inclusive Development Group (IDG), ensuring alignment of all its Divisions with the vision of promoting inclusive and sustainable banking in Pakistan.
To formulate and implement strategies to achieve Group-wide objectives encompassing Agriculture, Commercial & SME, Finance & Special Initiatives, and Corporate Social Responsibility.
To oversee the performance and growth of IDG Divisions ensuring achievement of assigned business targets, portfolio quality and regulatory compliance.
To supervise and guide Divisional Heads in business planning, product development and execution of footprint initiatives aimed at expanding the Bank's financial inclusion.
To review/recommend credit proposals onward approval by RMG and accordingly act as Credit Approval Authority for Annual Targets.
To monitor/support growth in Agriculture, SME, Commercial Financing, and represent IDG in Board Development Committee, Board Committees and senior management forums.
To participate in Executive Management Committees including Management Credit Committee (MCC), ALCO, Enterprise Risk Management Committee (ERMC), Expense Approval Committee (EAC) & other meetings.
To oversee the preparation and consolidation of group budgets and business plans ensuring achievement of strategic objectives through effective performance monitoring.
To promote a compliance-oriented environment that supports continuous improvement and minimize audit findings.
The employment will be on a contractual basis, for a period which may be renewed at the discretion of the Management. Selected candidates will be offered a compensation package and other benefits as per Bank's policy/rules.
This is a Senior Management appointment and candidates already working in similar leadership positions will be considered. Compensation and terms are competitive and negotiable, commensurate with qualification, experience and leadership potentials of the candidates.
