Join Us for the TP Lynx Project in Karachi

TransKarachi, the Project Implementation Agency of the Karachi Red Line BRT (Bus Rapid Transit), is inviting applications for the following positions based in Karachi.

Note:

  • All positions are contractual.

Position 1: General Manager (GM)

Key Requirements:

  • Must possess at least 15 years of professional experience.

  • Should have demonstrated experience in project delivery, construction quality assurance, and oversight of engineering activities.

  • Experience in working with government, donors, and international financial institutions is essential.

  • Familiarity with FIDIC guidelines and related training/education is highly preferred.

  • Degree from a renowned international or Pakistani university is desirable.

  • Advanced degrees will be considered an additional qualification.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and ensure quality control in construction and engineering activities.

  • Lead infrastructure planning and compliance for the Karachi Red Line project.

  • Ensure the adoption of global best practices in delivery and management.

Position 2: ITS & Operations Specialist

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years in operations management.

  • Experience in Mass Transit, Ticketing Systems, or ITS (Intelligent Transport Systems) in Pakistan will be advantageous.

  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical capabilities, and team coordination skills are essential.

  • Must have a recognized degree in ITS or a related field from an accredited institution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead performance management of operations including ticketing, station management, and ITS.

  • Oversee delivery of biogas plant under Red Line project.

  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure efficient project implementation.
