Senior Management / Leadership Position

Sui Southern Gas Company Limited (SSGC) is one of Pakistan’s leading public sector entities, engaged in the transmission and distribution of natural gas across the provinces of Sindh and Balochistan.

The Company also owns and operates the country’s only Gas Meter Manufacturing Plant, with an annual production capacity of approximately one million meters.

SSGC is currently undergoing a transformation phase led by an enterprising Board and Management team that promotes a culture of excellence, teamwork, transparency, and meritocracy.

To further strengthen this transformation journey, SSGC invites applications from competent and dynamic professionals for the following senior leadership position:

Position Title

General Manager – Counter Gas Theft (Security Services & Operations)

Minimum Qualification & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution

  • At least 14 years of post-qualification experience

  • Preferably an ex-Armed Forces officer (Brigadier or equivalent rank)

  • Candidates having corporate and administrative experience in Sindh and Balochistan will be preferred

Job Summary

The incumbent will lead the Security Services & Counter Gas Theft Operations (SS&CGTO) Department.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Taking strategic and operational measures to counter gas theft

  • Ensuring vigilance based on intelligence and information reports

  • Initiating legal and corrective actions based on investigation findings

  • Monitoring and controlling perpetrators involved in gas theft

  • Reducing the Company’s line losses through strict enforcement and oversight

Terms & Conditions

  • The appointment will initially be on a three-year contract, renewable based on Company requirements and individual performance.

  • Candidates must fulfill the “Fit and Proper Criteria” as per applicable SOE regulations.

  • Maximum age limit: 57 years (for external candidates only).

  • For internal candidates, continuity of service will be provided as per Company policy.

  • Shortlisting and selection will be conducted strictly on a merit basis.
