ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION

Sui Southern Gas Company Limited (SSGC) , Pakistan's leading Public Sector Utility Company, is looking to fill the following specialized positions with qualified, experienced, and dynamic professionals who can add value to the organization's progress.

VACANCY DETAILS – FINANCE DEPARTMENT

Position 1: Chief Manager – Insurance

 
Job Code 8585-01
Minimum Qualification CA / ACMA with at least 06 years of relevant post-membership experience OR
ACCA / MBA (preferably in Finance) with at least 09 years of relevant experience.
Leadership Experience Must have at least 04 years of relevant experience as Functional / Team Lead.
Job Summary The main purpose of this position is to lead the Insurance section for the purpose of arranging adequate Insurance Coverage for all the Assets and Employees of SSGC. The incumbent is also responsible to ensure fair and prompt settlement and recoveries of all Insurance claims. The incumbent is also responsible for additional assignments pertaining to Insurance as desired by senior management.

Position 2: Deputy Manager – Insurance

Job Summary The main purpose of this position is to support senior management in the arrangement of adequate insurance cover for the company and employees at minimal cost. The incumbent is also responsible for providing assistance related to insurance of Fixed Assets and Employees.

Position 3: Deputy Manager – Gas Purchases

Minimum Qualification ACCA / MBA (preferably in Finance) with at least 02 years of experience.
Job Summary The main mandate of this position is to support the Gas Purchase section in the management and processing of monthly gas purchase invoices and ensure all financial obligations have been met on a timely basis. The incumbent is responsible for:
• Compilation of data / rechecking financial accuracy
• Providing reliable data for various gas purchase schedules and management reports
• Debit / credit notes effective management / workings
• Assisting in coordination with E&P companies and other departments in resolving invoice-related matters.

Position 4: Assistant Manager – Gas Purchases

Minimum Qualification ACCA / MBA (preferably in Finance) with at least 01 year of experience.
Job Summary The main mandate of this position is:
• Preparation of gas purchase calculations (Local and Foreign) of gas fields
• Uploading all foreign M-Forms on FX Portal for invoices received from E&P companies upon verification from SSGC's Technical department
• Liaison and coordination with Exploration and Production (E&P) companies regarding withholding tax certificates
• Handling system-related queries with inter-departments (Cash & Bank / IT / Accounts) resolving invoice punching and payment errors in ERP
• Maintaining creditors' position of Fields / Suppliers for each quarter and related reports and JVs for the Accounts section.
