Position: General Manager Finance

Qualifications

  • ACCA / CA-Finalist / M.Com / MBA (Finance)
  • Equivalent relevant qualifications may also be considered.

Experience & Competencies

  • Experience: 5–10 years of relevant experience in a reputed organization, preferably in educational or healthcare institutions.
  • Key Competencies:
    • Strong financial management abilities for public and private sector organizations.
    • Expertise in compliance with FBR rules (e.g., withholding taxation, e-payments, monthly and quarterly withholding statements).
    • Proficiency in SECP rules (e.g., compliance with meeting requirements and annual filings).
    • Knowledge of:
      • Audit, budget, and financial management.
      • Accounting policies and procedures.
      • Investment accounting, tax laws, IAS & IFRS, GAAP, and PPRA rules.
    • Strong command over financial tools and systems, including:
      • QuickBooks, SAP, Microsoft Office Suite, or other ERPs.
      • Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, lookups, and sum-if formulas).
    • Proficiency in:
      • Accounts finalization.
      • Accounts and bank reconciliation.
    • Strong analytical and business analysis skills.
    • Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal).
    • Leadership and stakeholder management skills.
    • Ability to foster a positive and energetic work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee financial operations with a focus on results-oriented approaches.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and organizational financial standards.
