INDUCTION OF CIVILIAN POSTGRADUATE TRAINEES (FCPS-II) – SESSION JANUARY 2026

Fazaia Postgraduate Medical Institute (FPGMI), Islamabad, invites applications from qualified medical graduates for Postgraduate Training (FCPS-II) in various specialties for the session commencing January 2026, at PAF Hospital Islamabad.

Available Specialties & Eligibility Criteria

S. No. Specialty Eligibility Requirements
1 Anesthesia MBBS from a PM&DC-recognized Medical College/University. Foreign graduates must provide a PM&DC Equivalence Certificate. One-year house job from a PM&DC-recognized hospital. FCPS Part-I passed in relevant specialty.
2 Dermatology MBBS + PM&DC-recognized house job + FCPS Part-I in Dermatology. Mandatory: 02 years FCPS-II training in General Medicine.
3 Gynae & Obstetrics MBBS + one-year PM&DC-recognized house job + FCPS Part-I in Gynae & Obs.
4 Medicine MBBS + one-year PM&DC-recognized house job + FCPS Part-I in Medicine.
5 Paediatrics MBBS + recognized house job + FCPS Part-I in Paediatrics.
6 Psychiatry MBBS + recognized house job + FCPS Part-I in Psychiatry.
7 Surgery MBBS + recognized house job + FCPS Part-I in Surgery.

Terms & Conditions

(a) Eligible candidates may apply online from 08 to 31 December 2025 at:

(b) Application Processing Fee

  • Rs. 3,000/- (non-refundable)

  • To be deposited through Bank Challan (available on the website).

  • Upload the paid deposit slip with the online application.

(c) Written Test & Interviews

  • A written test will be conducted.

  • Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview.

  • Valid and active mobile number must be mentioned in the application.

(d) No TA/DA

  • No TA/DA will be provided for test or interview.

(e) Security Clearance

  • Final selection is subject to mandatory security clearance from the candidate’s permanent address (as per CNIC).

(f) Specialty Limitation

  • Candidates may apply for only one specialty.

(g) NOC Requirement

  • Candidates requesting change of institute must submit a valid NOC from the previous training institution/supervisor.

Documents Required at the Time of Written Test

All applicants must bring original documents, including:

  • MBBS Final Professional Marksheet

  • PM&DC License

  • FCPS-I Certificate

  • Original Bank Paid Challan (Rs. 3,000/-)

  • For Dermatology applicants: Experience certificate of 02-year FCPS-II training in General Medicine

Note: Candidates with incomplete or missing documents will not be allowed to sit in the test.
