VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

A reputed Exploration & Production Company is seeking a highly experienced and motivated individual for the position of:

Position: General Manager (Drilling Operations)

Job Description:

The General Manager (Drilling Operations) will be responsible for leading and managing drilling and work-over activities in the upstream oil & gas sector. The role requires strong technical expertise, leadership ability, and strategic oversight to ensure safe, cost-effective, and efficient operations.

Qualification Requirements:

  • Minimum Education:
    Bachelor of Engineering degree from a reputable national or foreign university recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).

  • Additional Qualification:
    A postgraduate degree in a relevant discipline will be considered an added advantage.

Experience Requirements:

  • Total Experience:
    At least 16 years of relevant professional post-qualification experience.

  • Managerial Experience:
    A minimum of 7 years in a managerial role with large-scale companies operating in the upstream oil & gas sector, specifically in drilling and work-over operations.

Age Limit:

  • Maximum Age: 55 years

Terms of Employment:

  • The selected candidate will be appointed on a 3-year contractual basis, extendable by mutual consent.

  • Salary and Benefits: Market-based compensation package aligned with experience and in accordance with the Company’s policies.

Additional Notes:

  1. Candidates possessing foreign qualifications must submit an equivalence certificate from HEC.
