Company Overview: A leading public sector utility company in Pakistan is looking to fill the following senior management positions based in Karachi. These positions are pivotal leadership roles, with an emphasis on executive leadership capabilities such as strategic thinking, corporate governance, organizational transformation, stakeholder management, integrity, and change leadership, in addition to operational experience. The roles require strategic vision, strong business and financial acumen, and the ability to operate effectively in a regulated public-sector environment.

Position Title Qualification Experience
Deputy Managing Director (Corporate Services) Business or Engineering Graduate from a reputable university / institution recognized / accredited by HEC. Candidates with Master’s degree shall have added advantage. Minimum 20 years of post-qualification work experience with at least seven (07) years in a senior management position in a leading/renowned multinational or corporate sector including 5 years’ experience in Oil and Gas Sector. Must have demonstrated strategic leadership being a highly experienced and seasoned leader/manager with strong qualifications and credentials. Excellent communication, negotiation, conflict resolution and leadership skills. Proven track record of Leading teams, achieving management objectives and maintaining effective liaison with stakeholders. Indepth knowledge of Gas Industry and various Corporate functions like Supply Chain, Customer Services, Corporate Communication, Information Technology, HSE&QA/QC, Legal Services, Land & Estate Management etc.
Chief Financial Officer (CFO) A member of an organized body of professional accountants. The Chief Financial Officer will be responsible for leading the Company’s financial strategy, ensuring robust financial governance, and driving sustainable growth. The role entails financial stewardship, enterprise risk management, long-term financial sustainability, and supporting the Board in its governance responsibilities. It also includes formulating and executing financial strategies, developing and reviewing financial plans, and providing strategic guidance to the Management. At least fifteen (15) years of relevant experience. The candidate must have at least 5 years of experience at a senior management position in a reputable multinational or corporate sector. Oil and Gas Sector / SOE experience shall be considered as an added advantage. Excellent communication, negotiation, conflict resolution and leadership skills. Preparing and monitoring revenue and capital budgets, overseeing financial controls, treasury operations, taxation matters, investments and ensuring full compliance with statutory, legal, and reporting requirements and timely finalization of financial statements.
Senior General Manager (HSE & QA/QC) Minimum 16 years of bachelor degree in engineering discipline. NEBOSH international certification is mandatory for the role. 17 years of post-qualification experience including 5 years’ experience in senior management / leadership role in HSE and QA/QC preferably in Oil & Gas Sector. Excellent communication, negotiation, conflict resolution and leadership skills. Proven track record of leading teams, achieving management objectives and maintaining effective liaison with stakeholders. The Candidate must possess sound knowledge of HSE management system, QA/QC frameworks, pipeline safety, risk assessment and audit management. Lead Auditor for ISO systems such as ISO-9001, ISO-45001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 Management System or similar Management System Standard.

Successful candidates shall be appointed in accordance with the State Owned Enterprises (Governance and Operations) Act 2023, State Owned Enterprise (C-Level Appointments) guidelines 2024, The State-Owned Enterprise (Ownership and Management) policy, 2023 and must be fulfill laid down fit and proper criteria.
