Applications are invited for the following positions at Dr. A. Q. Khan Institute of Biotechnology & Genetic Engineering (KIBGE), University of Karachi, under the Contributory Pension Fund Scheme:

1. Electrician (BPS-13)

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Diploma of Associate Engineer (DAE) in relevant field.

  • Minimum of three (3) years’ relevant experience.

  • Age Limit: Up to 40 years.

2. Plumber (BPS-9)

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Matriculation qualification.

  • Certification in plumbing work.

  • Minimum of three (3) years’ relevant experience.

  • Age Limit: Up to 40 years.

Application Procedure

  1. Application Form:

    • Available at the office of the Director General, KIBGE.

    • Can be obtained upon payment of Rs. 1,000/- (non-refundable) through pay order in favor of KIBGE.

  2. Submission Requirements:

    • Submit six (6) copies of the application along with attested copies of all relevant documents.

    • Deadline for submission: May 30, 2025.

  3. Qualification Criteria:

    • Only degrees/diplomas obtained from HEC recognized institutions will be accepted.

  4. Experience Criteria:

    • Experience from University/Government/Semi-Government/Reputable Private Organizations will be considered valid.

  5. In-Service Candidates:

    • Must apply through proper channel.
