VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the following positions at Medical & Teaching Institution (MTI), Hayatabad Medical Complex (HMC), Peshawar. Candidates must possess domicile of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa / Merged Districts and fulfill the criteria mentioned below.

Director Research & Clinical Audit

Qualification:

1. A recognized primary medical qualification with valid registration in Pakistan (MBBS, MD, or equivalent).

2. A postgraduate qualification in a health-related discipline relevant to research, public health, or clinical governance (MPH, MHR, or equivalent).

Experience:

1. Substantial professional experience in academic medicine, hospital-based research, or clinical governance within a teaching or tertiary care environment.

2. Demonstrated experience of working within regulated healthcare and academic governance frameworks.

Financial Consultant

Qualification:

• Member / Fellow Member of a recognized professional accounting body (CA, CMA, ACCA or equivalent)
  OR

• MBA / MS in Finance, Public Finance, or Health Management

Experience:

1. Minimum 20 years post-qualification experience in finance or financial management.

2. Experience at C-level or an equivalent senior finance role.

3. Experience of working with public sector governance bodies, including Boards of Governors, committees, and regulators.

4. Experience in hospital/health sector, particularly Medical Teaching Institutions (MTIs) or public hospitals in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

5. Demonstrated understanding of hospital and stakeholder engagement context.

6. Proven consultancy capability with independence and practical insight.

3. Applications must include:

   • Complete bio-data

   • Attested copies of academic, experience, and domicile certificates

   • Two (02) recent passport-size photographs

   • Attested photocopy of CNIC

4. Applications must be submitted within 15 days of publication of this advertisement.

5. Applications received after the due date, even if payment is made within time, will not be entertained.

6. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview based on pre-interview marks.

7. The appointment shall be governed under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Medical & Teaching Institutions Reform Act, 2015, and rules amended from time to time.

8. Government servants must apply through proper channel and submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their parent department.

9. If selected, a civil servant must submit evidence of accepted resignation within 90 days, failing which appointment shall be terminated ab-initio.

10. Experience marks will be awarded only for relevant field experience related to Finance or Accounts.

11. Candidates may be disqualified if they:

    • Have been convicted by a court of law

    • Have been dismissed from public service

    • Provide false or forged information/documents

    • Attempt to influence the selection process

    • Misbehave during interview

12. Original documents must be produced at the time of interview.

13. The competent authority reserves the right to cancel the post as per MTI requirements.

14. No TA/DA will be admissible for test/interview.

15. If the closing date falls on an official holiday, the next working day shall be considered the closing date.
