POSITION: DIRECTOR INFRASTRUCTURE & PROJECTS

About Pakistan Cricket Board

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is the governing body responsible for promoting and developing the game of cricket in Pakistan and maintaining overall control and governance of the sport across the country.

Role Summary

The Director Infrastructure & Projects will be responsible for:

  • Planning, developing, and executing PCB's infrastructure strategy

  • Ensuring the timely, cost-effective, and high-quality delivery of infrastructure projects

  • Playing a key role in developing modern cricket facilities and supporting infrastructure ecosystems across Pakistan

Required Education & Experience

 
Criteria Details
Professional Experience Minimum 20 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in large-scale infrastructure, construction, or project management environments
Educational Qualification Minimum Bachelor's degree (Civil Engineering) from a well-recognized university
Leadership Experience Demonstrated leadership experience in managing multidisciplinary teams and complex projects
Regulatory Knowledge Well versed with PPRA (Public Procurement Regulatory Authority) rules and regulations

Key Responsibilities

 
# Responsibility
1 Review and authorize claims, invoices, change orders, and variation requests in accordance with approved policies and procedures
2 Ensure projects are delivered within approved budgets and obtain necessary approvals for any budget variations
3 Ensure that all operations run with legality and conformity to established regulations
4 Assist in troubleshooting of construction issues
5 Ensure that all materials used for work performed are as per specifications and as per consultants' recommendations
6 Maintain complete and accurate project documentation and records
7 Remain informed of emerging developments, technologies, and best practices relevant to infrastructure and project management
8 Manage and monitor the progress of projects

2 High levels of integrity, professionalism, discretion, and interpersonal effectiveness
3 In-depth knowledge of engineering policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures
4 Strong negotiation skills and ability to effectively manage contractors, consultants, and vendors
5 Comprehensive knowledge of engineering standards, construction methodologies, regulatory requirements, and project governance frameworks
