About the Organization

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is responsible for the promotion, development, and regulation of cricket in Pakistan, ensuring effective governance and growth of the sport at all levels.

Position Overview

The Manager Procurement will be responsible for overseeing PCB’s procurement operations, ensuring the cost-effective, timely, and compliant acquisition of goods and services in line with organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement procurement and contracting strategies
  • Manage sourcing, tendering, negotiation, and contract execution
  • Ensure compliance with:
    • PPRA Rules
    • Internal policies and legal frameworks
  • Evaluate and manage supplier/vendor performance and contracts
  • Maintain accurate records of:
    • Procurement activities
    • Contracts
    • Vendor performance
  • Collaborate with Legal, Finance, and Operations teams
  • Maintain a centralized repository of procurement and contract documents
  • Ensure audit readiness and transparency in all procurement processes

Eligibility Criteria

Education

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree from an HEC-recognized university

Experience

  • At least 5 years of experience in:
    • Procurement
    • Supply chain management
  • Preference will be given to candidates with experience in:
    • Large organizations
    • Public sector institutions

Competency Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Contract law
    • Public procurement frameworks (PPRA Rules)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in:
    • MS Office
    • Document management systems
  • Ability to:
    • Work under pressure
    • Meet deadlines effectively
  • High standards of:
    • Ethics

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
