ENERGY INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELOPMENT AND MANAGEMENT COMPANY (EIDMC) – EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES

POSITION DETAILS

1. Position: Director (Procurement)

• Qualification:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Civil, Mechanical) or Supply Chain/Business Administration from a recognized university.

  • Preference: Candidates with professional certifications equivalent to PMP or CIPM, and formal training/certification in public/donor-funded procurement rules will be preferred.

• Experience:

  • Minimum 10 years of post-qualification experience in procurement & contract management.

  • Preference: Candidates with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the power sector will be given preference.

• Age Limit: Maximum 50 years as of the closing date of the advertisement.

2. Position: Deputy Director (Project Planning & Strategy)

• Qualification:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Civil, Mechanical), Business Administration, or Project Management from a recognized university.

  • Preference: Candidates possessing a Master's Degree in Project Management or Business Administration, along with related professional certifications, will be preferred.

• Experience:

  • Minimum Eight (08) years of post-qualification experience in project management.

  • Preference: Candidates with experience in project planning, preparation of all project documents pertaining to the Planning Commission, EPC Contracts, PPP, and joint ventures will be given preference.

• Age Limit: Maximum 45 years as of the closing date of the advertisement.

3. Position: Deputy Director (Project Finance & Budgeting)

• Qualification:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree (16 years of education) in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce from a recognized university OR membership of a recognized body of professional accountants.

  • Preference: Candidates possessing a Master's Degree in Finance or Accounting will be preferred.

• Experience:

  • Minimum Eight (08) years of post-qualification experience in financial accounting, budgeting/ERP, project financing, treasury management, financial modeling, and reporting.

• Age Limit: Maximum 45 years as of the closing date of the advertisement.

4. Position: Deputy Director (Civil)

• Qualification:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree (16 years of education) in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.

  • Preference: Candidates possessing a Master's Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering with professional certifications in Project Management (PMP), NEBOSH, or IOSH Safety Certifications will be preferred.

• Experience:

  • Minimum Eight (08) years of post-qualification experience managing civil/infrastructure projects.

  • Preference: Candidates with strong knowledge of construction and structure standards (e.g., ISO) will be given preference.

• Age Limit: Maximum 45 years as of the closing date of the advertisement.

5. Position: Deputy Director (HSE/ESG)

• Qualification:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree (16 years of education) in Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Energy Engineering from a recognized university.

  • Preference: Candidates possessing a Master's Degree in Environmental Management, Occupational Health & Safety, or professional certifications like NEBOSH, ISO 45001 Lead Auditor, ISO 14001 Environmental Management will be preferred.

• Experience:

  • Minimum Eight (08) years of post-qualification experience in HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance).

  • Preference: Candidates with experience on energy infrastructure projects will be given preference.

• Age Limit: Maximum 45 years as of the closing date of the advertisement.

6. Position: Deputy Director (Quality & Technical Assurance)

• Qualification:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree (16 years of education) in Electrical, Civil, Mechanical, Electronics, Industrial, or Energy Management from a recognized university.

  • Preference: Candidates possessing a Master's degree in Engineering Management, Quality Management, or relevant certifications such as ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), or equivalent professional certifications will be preferred.

• Experience:

  • Minimum Eight (08) years of post-qualification experience in Quality and Technical Assurance.

  • Preference: Candidates with experience in infrastructure, power/utility, or industrial projects will be given preference.

• Age Limit: Maximum 45 years as of the closing date of the advertisement.

7. Position: Deputy Director (Project Delivery)

• Qualification:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree (16 years of education) in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Civil Engineering from a recognized university.

  • Preference: Candidates possessing a Master's Degree in Project Management are preferred.

• Experience:

  • Minimum Eight (08) years of post-qualification experience in delivering engineering designs, procurement, EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction), testing, commissioning, and project technical specifications/drawings/programmer/inspection and best plans/contractors' submissions.

  • Preference: Candidates with relevant experience in the above areas will be given preference.

• Age Limit: Maximum 45 years as of the closing date of the advertisement.

8. Position: Deputy Director (Legal)

• Qualification:

  • Education: Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from a recognized university.

  • Preference: Candidates possessing a Master of Laws (LLM) in Corporate Law or a Contract-related specialization will be preferred. Accreditation in arbitration or dispute resolution will be an added advantage.

• Experience:

  • Minimum Eight (08) years of post-qualification relevant experience in a reputable national/multinational organization.

  • Preference: Candidates with experience working in companies/organizations for contract law, commercial law, public procurement, EPC Contracts, and regulatory proceedings will be given preference.

• Age Limit: Maximum 45 years as of the closing date of the advertisement.

9. Position: Deputy Director (Monitoring & Evaluation)

• Qualification:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Civil, or Mechanical) from a recognized university.

  • Preference: Candidates possessing a Master's Degree in Engineering or Business Administration will be preferred.

• Experience:

  • Minimum Eight (08) years of post-qualification experience in M&E (Monitoring and Evaluation) of projects.

  • Preference: Candidates with experience in developing, shaping, and implementing M&E Frameworks and preparation of PC-I, IV, and V documents will be given preference.

• Age Limit: Maximum 45 years as of the closing date of the advertisement.

GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Remuneration: A market-based compensation package will be offered, commensurate with the candidate's qualifications and experience.

2. Tenure: The initial contract is for a period of three (3) years, further extendable on a mutually agreed basis subject to satisfactory performance.

3. Engineering Registration: Candidates with degrees in Engineering must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) to be eligible.

4. Internal Candidates: Candidates already working in Government/Semi-Public Organizations can also apply but must submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their department at the time of the interview.
