Applications are invited for the following posts in Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) from the candidates who fulfill the educational qualification, experience and age limit criteria as mentioned below. The applications must reach the address given below within 15 days of publication of this advertisement i.e.by March 31, 2022 (1700 hours).

Minimum 12 years relevant post qualification experience including 07 years i — n positions equivalent to BPS-18 (in case of public sector) or relevant experience in middle level position in private sector organization of repute. The person shall be experienced in areas of organizational/ administrative policies and internal quality procedures. Background knowledge of dealing quality procedural audits, risk management, procurement, tender processes, PPRA rules, fleet management, inventory and assets management, quality reporting and analysis will be preferred. Proficiency in operations of an ERP system, conversant with MIS, MS Office and relevant managementtraining is also required. Knowledge of PEC Act & Bye-laws will be an added advantage. Person should have good organizational and presentation skills with pleasant personality.

Minimum 12 years relevant post qualification experience including 07 years in positions equivalent to BPS-18 (in case of public sector) or relevant experience in middle level position in private sector organization of repute. The person shall be experienced in areas of organizational/ administrative policies and internal quality procedures. Background knowledge of dealing quality procedural audits, risk management, management of HR Operations, legal matters, Esta-Code, reporting and analysis will be preferred. Proficiency in operations of an ERP system, conversant with MIS, MS Office and relevant Management training is also required. Knowledge of PEC Act & Bye-laws will be an added advantage. Person should have good organizational and presentation skills with pleasant personality.
3 Director Finance & Accounts (PEC-19) (Regular) 1
(Open Merit)		 45 years Chartered Accountant (CA), ACMA, Master's Degree in Finance, MBA (Finance/ Accounting) or minimum of 16 years of relevant qualification in the field of Accounting / Finance recognized by HEC. Only one 2nd division in academic career will be acceptable; however, the final/terminal degree must be obtained in V division. Preference will be given to the candidate possessing CA/ACMA qualification. Minimum 12 years' post qualification experience in relevant positions (BPS-17 and above) including 07 years of experience in managerial position equivalent to BPS-18 (in case of public sector) or middle level relevant position in private sector of repute. Experience required may be relaxed for CA/ACMA qualification as per Government rules/policy/practice. The person shall have experience in the areas of financial management, policies & procedures and reasonable exposure to planning and accounting processes. Demonstrated experience and knowledge of dealing internal/external audits, compliance requirements, tax & commercial laws, cash management & financial control, operating Financial Information Systems (FIS), procurement / tender processes, quality reporting and analysis is required. Proficiency in operations of an ERP system, MS Office, understanding of relevant Accounting Standards (IAS) and technical/ management trainings will be an added advantage.

  • Applications for posts mentioned at serial No. 1 to 3 are to be submitted ONLINE through PEC Job Portal on jobs.pec.org.pk. All requisite documents will be uploaded correctly. In case of no/irrelevant/incorrect uploading of documents, the application will not be accepted.
  • Printed copy of online applications duly signed by the applicant is to be forwarded to PEC at below mentioned address along with attested copies of educational certificate/degrees, experience letters, CNIC, domicile, NOC (if applicable) and detailed Curriculum Vitae with latest picture.
  • Applications for posts mentioned at serial No. 4 & 5 are to be submitted in hard copy only as per format given on website (www.pec.org.pk). All requisite attested documents will be submitted along with application forms.
  • At the time of interview, the candidates will have to bring original educational certificates/degrees, experience letters, CNIC and domicile for verification.
  • Drivers may be posted in any PEC office as per requirement, throughout the country.
  • Naib Qasids will be selected locally from the district of employment office. In case of positions at PEC HO Islamabad, domicile of Rawalpindi and Islamabad will be acceptable.
  • Last date for submission of applications is March 31, 2022 (1700 hours).
  • Persons serving in Govt./Public/Autonomous organizations must obtain NOC from respective department. No application will be entertained without said NOC.
  • Applications received after due date & time will not be entertained.
  • Age limit shall be calculated as per closing date of application as given in advertisement.
  • Only shortlisted candidates will be called for Test/Interview, as the case maybe.
  • No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in Test/interview, as the case maybe.
  • The Competent Authority reserves the right to reject any or all the applications/cancel the recruitment process at any stage without assigning any reason.
