PAKISTAN ENGINEERING COUNCIL (PEC)

SITUATION VACANT

1. General Instructions

Applications are invited for the following post in Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) from candidates who fulfill the educational qualification, experience, and age limit criteria as mentioned below.

  • Application Deadline: The application must reach the address given below within 15 days of publication of this advertisement, i.e., by September 07, 2026 (1700 hours).

3. Eligibility Criteria

A. Educational Qualification

  • B.Sc. Engineering degree.

  • Must be registered with the Council as a "Professional Engineer".

  • Required computer literacy.

B. Experience Required

  • Minimum 22 years of experience in BPS-17 or equivalent grade.

  • Out of the above, 05 years must be in an independent managerial position equivalent to BPS-20.

  • Essential experience in:

    • Office Management.

    • Dealing with Government Departments.

    • Working with National / Multinational / Public / Private Sector Organizations.

C. Age Limit

  • Up to 57 Years (calculated as per the closing date of the advertisement).

4. Preferred Skills & Additional Qualifications

  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Pleasant and extrovert personality.

  • Preference will be given to candidates with working experience in national or international professional/regulatory bodies.

  • Added advantage: Exposure to legal processes and procedures.

  • Preferable trainings/short courses in:

    • Leadership

    • Time Management

    • Change Management

    • Stress Management

    • Coaching, etc.

  • Essential knowledge of PEC Act and Bye-laws.

  • High level of strategic vision, exceptional administrative acumen, institutional governance expertise, sound national-level decision-making capability, and demonstrated excellence in senior administrative leadership and management.

Step 1: Online Application Submit applications ONLINE through the PEC Job Portal at jobs.pec.org.pk.
Step 2: Document Upload Ensure all documents are correctly uploaded. In case of missing/irrelevant/incorrect documents, the application will not be accepted.

- Attested copies of educational certificates/degrees.

Condition Details
Evaluation Applicants will be evaluated along with departmental candidates as per specified criteria in PEC Service Rules.
Tenure This is a tenure position for a three-year period, extendable with the approval of the Chairman PEC based on satisfactory performance and recommendation of the Selection Board.
NOC Requirement Persons serving in Govt./Public/Autonomous organizations must obtain a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their respective department.
Shortlisting Only shortlisted candidates shall be called for an interview.
Late Applications Applications received after the due date & time will not be entertained.
TA/DA No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in the interview.
