1. ORGANIZATION OVERVIEW

Peshawar Electric Supply Company (PESCO) is a public sector utility company under the Ministry of Energy (Power Division) . The company provides electricity to its valuable customers under its operational jurisdiction. PESCO invites applications for the recruitment of suitable candidates to fill the following positions for its Market Implementation & Regulatory Affairs Department (MIRAD) . These appointments are on a purely contract basis on a lump sum pay basis, extendable subject to satisfactory performance.

Required Qualification and Experience:

 
Category Eligibility Criteria
Option A ACA/ACMA/ACCA Member or any equivalent qualification recognized by the body of professional Accountants
Option B ACA Intermediate / ICMA Intermediate / ACCA Affiliate or any equivalent qualification recognized by the body of Professional Accountants with 3 years relevant experience
Option C M.Com / MBA (Finance) / MS Finance with minimum 5 years post-qualification experience in financial management, contract/commercial finance, treasury, or regulatory finance, preferably in the power/utility sector

Additional Requirements:

 
Requirement Details
Knowledge The candidate should possess understanding of CTBCM (Competitive Trading Bilateral Contract Market), Regulatory Affairs, bilateral contracts, and the bidding process
Added Advantage Knowledge of the electricity market shall be an added advantage

Instruction Details
Nature of Appointment Appointments shall be made purely on a contractual basis under the applicable PESCO Contractual Employees Policy, organizational requirements, and approval of the Competent Authority
Citizenship The applicant must be a citizen of Pakistan
Government Employees Candidates serving in Government, Semi-Government, Autonomous, or Public Sector Organizations shall apply through the proper channel
Shortlisting Only shortlisted candidates meeting the prescribed eligibility criteria shall be called for an interview
TA/DA No TA/DA shall be admissible at any stage of the recruitment process
Document Verification Candidates shall be required to produce original educational, professional, and experience documents, along with a valid CNIC, at the time of interview or whenever required during the recruitment process
